Clients who use traditional email services can sign in to our private message center using their Google, Apple, or Microsoft account to exchange secure messages and web forms with you. The message center is simple to use and ensures the privacy of your conversations.

Reading a secure email

Recipients who are not using Hushmail receive a link to a secure web page where they can read your email and fill out your web forms. When someone receives a secure email on the web, they can sign in using their Google, Apple, or Microsoft account. Or they can create a password.

Replying to a secure email

Replying securely to messages is easy. When you send someone an encrypted message, they receive an email sent to their regular email address with a link to a secure web page where they are asked to sign in using a password, or with their Google, Apple, or Microsoft account. Then, your recipient can securely read and respond to the initial message and any future messages.

Supports your HIPAA compliance

Our message center seamlessly transfers the secure benefits of Hushmail to your recipients even if they don’t have a Hushmail account of their own. Messages, attachments, and web forms sent through the message center are encrypted and secure. If you're on a Hushmail for Healthcare plan, all messages to and from your clients are saved in your HIPAA-compliant archive, ensuring you’re well prepared in case of an audit.

Optional security question

If your recipient hasn't used Hushmail before, you can require that they correctly answer a security question before signing in. This is a good way to verify your recipient’s identity when you initiate a conversation.
