Hush Messenger is the chat and instant messaging member of the Hush family of secure communication services, and is currently free to download and use! Your chat sessions will enjoy the same ease of use expected in any instant messaging client, with the security and transparent, end-to-end encryption shared by all Hush services!

All chat messages sent with Hush Messenger are protected by 2048-bit Open PGP encryption as well as 128-bit SSL encryption for maximum security.

Hush Messenger will also notify you when new email arrives in your Hushmail account! Many new features (some Premium) such as multi-user chat, data storage and file sharing will be available in the future - download Hush Messenger today and you'll receive the updates as soon as they're available!

Important Notes!

1. Using Hush Messenger requires that you have an active Hushmail account! Existing Standard and Premium Hushmail users need only download and install Hush Messenger to join the network. Users without a Hushmail account should click here to sign up!
2. You won't be able to add other Hushmail users as contacts until after they also download Hush Messenger and sign in for the first time.
3. If you are behind a firewall, you will need outgoing access on TCP ports 443 and 5223.
